I was just about to post about this.

I truly feel deep in my soul that this story of a rogue unstable regime having access to autonomous AI weaponry with zero regulations or oversight should be the most obsessed about story across all media platforms and sizes 24/7 all over the world.

It's a sign of the times that AI companies are deciding whether or not to allow the military to engage in mass surveillance of US citizens and this is treated as a legitimate debate of two reasonable positions.
