You oft mention the assaults on our sovereignty as the reason for boycotting the states. You should also mention our distaste for fascism and our desire to distance ourselves from evil.
Or... amend your Constitution to actually prevent your country from going full fascist again. A new party in power and new legislation is not enough. Governments change. Laws can be rewritten. The Constitution as is is not up to the task.
