Chris Rufo famously laid out the plan in a pair of tweets in 2021, but it never would’ve succeeded without enthusiastic support from the centrist wing of the Opinionati, who sanitized and amplified the RW talking point that the Left™ had “gone too far.”

Unfortunately, the article significantly downplays the primary motivation for far-right women: religious delusion.

It's unhelpful to paper this fact over, or to pretend that MAGA women are just contrarians. No, they are in religious cults that demand their subjugation and that of all other women.

There's an unfortunate tendency among many elite journalists to deliberately ignore cultic Christianity. It usually arises from lack of familiarity with the doctrines or a pro-Christian bias that doesn't want to acknowledge that all major religions can have harmful interpretations.

Even after 10 full years of blatant Christian supremacist extremism, far too many left-of-center media elites do not want to talk about this information.

Why do Republican elites keep talking about dying for Jesus? Fighting losing battles valiantly has always been at the core of U.S. conservatism. But as the losses keep piling up, its tragic sense is turning into thanatos.

Why would a woman argue for her own subjugation? Because God demands it.

You cannot stop these people if you do not admit why they are doing this.
