Very excited to be home for a bit.

From my recent travels, India is surging economically. A huge middle class is being built there and they’re focused on growing their economy. Chinese EVs are all over India, and Thailand and they are very nice cars. In the meantime we have our heads up our asses. We’re going to get lapped soon.

I am about to time travel! I technically will land in SFO 3 hours before I take off from HKG.

Fly on a Dreamliner. Check.

46 hours of travel including 23.5 hours of flight time starts now! At least I'll get to check circumnavigation off my bucket list.

I have absolutely no idea what time zone my body is on at this point. I had just adjusted to CET when we left for India and I start back to Austin tomorrow through a bunch of time zones gonna be an interesting week.

I liked Anzo but I get letting him go, bummed about Amik. Seems like the Lions have a lot of holes to fill.

Bengaluru has been quite something so far. A melting pot, a city of very stark contrasts. A five star hotel and then you walk outside to abject poverty. Traffic is indescribable, but the system does somehow work. Day after tomorrow I start a 46 hour journey home with 22 hours of total flight time.

So we ended up on a southerly routing last night, transiting southern Saudi Arabia. From what I gathered from briefly speaking to the crew - the northern route was getting crowded. Narrow and spots and I think their ops was over living that Class G life over Kabul’s FIR.

Made it to BLR! Now time for sleep because it’s 4:30 AM…

Well here we go first big trip in the new job. AUS -> JFK -> CPH, trains to Odense and Gothenburg. Then late this week CPH -> MUC -> BLR for a few days and then BLR -> DXB -> IAH -> AUS
