models during inference phase are true functions

prompt -> in a batch with other prompts to be more efficient with gpu time -> model -> response

this has not changed or affected the model in any way. a “conversation” means all the previous messages become the new prompt

not possible in a real sense (models have no memory or really any way or integrating new information during inference phase)

but this could be the statistically average prompt of the previous versions of these models (all requests to models turn into training data for the next version)
