Disgraceful of Farage to ignore the invitation to respond to this matter at PMQs…
Ignore the direct payments - those were relatively small. The big bucks were due to the bank etc intros Epstein made for him when out of political office - mind boggling levels of (indirect) back scratching…

This cartoon is one of my favourites - seems particularly relevant this week, and to today’s conversation @mrjamesob.bsky.social…
Great work. Just wondering, is it 'Made in Britian'..?
The government have just published this "package of support for housebuilding in the Capital."
Pragmatic, not dogmatic. Delivery across all tenures had effectively evaporated, so something needed to change. To be broadly welcomed, although overdue and not a panacea. Relieved, rather than celebrating. Detail to be examined and subject to consultation / amendment before it's implemented.
I admire the optimism of thinking that something can be evidenced to the extent that everyone will believe the truth and no-one will ever question it again. But then again, I suppose they would say that... 🤔
An excellent appointment for @housingforum.org.uk - and very good news for the coherence of the wider housing sector. Congratulations, Alex!
Breaking News: Just seen Matthew Pennycook’s tweet (‘post on X’ if you prefer). He retains his role as Housing Minister. Phew.
Continuity is to be maintained (a rare feature over recent years) and, whilst increased urgency is badly needed, progress on policy and implementation can continue…
Puzzled by this - why is it being presented as a simplistic ‘either/or’ choice? The reality of every funeral I’ve experienced is neither extreme sombreness nor a joyous party, but a blend of sorrow, gratitude and celebration of a person who was cherished. All elements are important to be included.
Belatedly, it’s #Caturday..! 😻
Many thanks for today's blistering intro on the disgraceful Farage and his modus operandi, @mrjamesob.bsky.social - keep on keeping it real..!
Best seat in the house! Ready for another hot day ahead… 🥵😻 #Caturday
I’m not surprised it hurt. Apparently she was made of iron…
RIP Brian Wilson
In a world where the word ‘legend’ is overused, Brian was indeed a genuine legend. The influence he has had on popular music since the ‘60s is simply immeasurable. So sad, but thank you for the music that has shaped so many lives… 🙏😢
My personal rule of thumb for #SpendingReview commentary is the phrase “the devil will be in the detail”.
If I come across this cliched phrase, I move on to listen to / read someone else. This rule is not only hard, but remarkably fast… 🙄
The infernal ratio strikes again, @mrjamesob.bsky.social 😱
“Everyone rents at some time during their lives – Build to Rent enables them to rent well.”
My thoughts on how #BuildToRent can improve its narrative - to improve understanding and to get more quality rental homes built for the people and places that need them… #BTR

What a disgrace. The opposite of leadership...
Morning! #Caturday 😻
🙄
…or rent, but only on a very short term basis…
Also hard to answer. Avoiding having a ‘High Overlord and Dictator for Life’ is surely one of the principle objectives (and benefits) of the EU…
Morning - it’s #Caturday..!! 😻
