Yeah I've picked up a few things about George Michael everywhere too. I have a theory that she writes lyrics for a bunch of artists. Haim released "down to be wrong" and it sounds like freedom by George Michael, is maybe interpolated. You can see her themes in the song too

Yes, same as the Haim album "I quit". I have a theory she's putting out some of her songs and giving them to other artists she knows so her team can't censor her work into the best choices for a successful album. Gracie Abram's songs and that one recent lady Gaga song sound like her too
