One of the weird up-sides of my ADHD is I can bounce back from poor mental health episodes if I simply get sufficiently distracted.

I just found a bunch of drawings I did a few weeks ago and they look so much like the stuff I used to draw when I was a kid that it triggered a massive wave of dysphoria and I had to go sit down and calm myself...

I appreciate that, I am a chronic procrastinator and apparently quite good at living in denial (not feeling feelings of loss after my break up until 5 months later - yikes).
Gonna add this to the pile of reasons I should get ADHD meds and a therapist (I have access to both, but I'm a bit avoidant)
but it could just be ADHD absentmindedness? but then there's a lot of overlap between neurodivergence and trauma and DID...
I love learning this stuff, it gives me new tools to explore my mind and understand myself better... this one seems to fit pretty well. But it's also daunting.
I'm so fucking good at masking those moments, pretending I know what's going on and acting like I've got stuff under control whilst I wait for something to jog my memory about what's going on... and like that could just be alters passing notes to each other... it makes a lot of sense to me...
Oh gosh. Yeah the blurry thing and the "need to be reminded of a couple things you were talking about before you seamlessly continue functioning just the way your brain has adapted to"... really resonates with me... It's reassuring that not knowing is a big part of it but also I want answers! argh!

At the meeting, I talk about Good Boss/Bad Boss/Sad Boss as the kind of menu of tactics the company will draw from. I said some version of a thing I have now said thousands of times in meetings and house calls: Good Boss is when they buy off or try to buy off workers, with favors and fixes or even pay raises, to quell the anger that drives the organizing, to make it seem as though workers don't need a union after all. Bad Boss is when they terrify or try to terrify workers through threats, like plant closure and rumors like "Wherever the union goes, Immigration follows," so that fear overpowers the driving anger. Sad Boss is when they play the strange game of pretending to suffer a deep, personal heartbreak as the result of workers deciding to organize, in hopes that the workers' anger will be confused or blunted by empathy for the boss.
Genuinely the best description I've ever seen about how CEOs and bosses respond when you try to form a union or improve the workplace.
