I think most commissioners will understand if you explain your situation to them. comms get delayed and others get cancelled, it's par for the course. you can't really predict the future and all that
I know I'm nearly a month late w/ this but I wanted to put my two cents in as a past customer

I understand where you're coming from, but the worst thing you can do is to NOT communicate with your customers. if you won't respond to any of their DMs (and on multiple platforms, like I did) for months then that's gonna look super sketchy, ESPECIALLY when you are still actively posting art
