Would Palantir be involved? That company needs to be removed from government data systems.

Hereditary peers to be removed from Lords as bill passes The bill abolishes the 92 seats reserved for peers who inherit their titles through their families.

There will be many dreamers complaining this is not enough

Wiser heads will accept that "one bound and we're there" is not how most change is accomplished

Now - get on with that review into wider changes to replace this house of political appointees!

Erling Haaland? Man City player? Modern players have so many sponsors I can’t keep up. 🀣

West Ham were unhappy with David Moyes as his team weren’t playing fantasy football as they won a European cup. Moyes created a winning team from the players he had at his disposal. You would have thought the board would have given a new contract and player transfer budget to build a better team.

Just to log this, in case it escalates. This article, which claims I've endorsed an automated trading service, is a scam, which has nothing to do with me, the Guardian, or the BBC, whose logo has been mocked up.
The only financial advice I'd give anyone is "don't ask me for financial advice."

Not brave but doing his job and in consequence makes every other journalist a coward or a stooge.

I keep misreading that as Melanin and think this is a documentary on skin cancer.

The ultimate Arsenal/Spurs event can happen soon. Arsenal winning the league while Spurs are relegated. That is generational shithousery right there.

I am a gooner and my co father-in-law is a Spurs fan. Always winding each other up before games. After Kinsky being brutally subbed I put aside the rivalry as I couldn’t bear watching a manager ending a young player’s career. No acknowledgment from the manager as he left the field broken. Sad.

I am constantly baffled by the boards of teams whose teams win a European trophy (West Ham and Spurs) then blow the legacy. Supporters of those clubs always crave a team that plays a sort of nostalgic expansive game where they rather lose beautifully than win ugly. Both could be relegated.

No worries. Theses threads get confusing.

This will be America’s new Vietnam. The US’ arrogance that they can overwhelm the β€˜little guy’ with big budget, high tech weaponry is undermined by ingenuity and stealth. Just like the guerrilla warfare in Vietnam.

How do politicians like Graham get elected time and again when it is obvious he is a hateful cunt?

Shaun of the Dead is a better movie but Hot Fuzz has a rewatchability that is hard to describe. I have the same feeling for Zombieland. It just hits me in the warm fuzzies.

I was replying to Pug of Crydee because of his attempt at correcting was silly and he got the name of the lightsaber wrong. I understood you were quoting.

I would add the Holdo manoeuvre as the reaction in the cinema was shock and awe. Beautiful piece of cinema. The silent soundtrack as Snoke’s ship is cut in half is poetic.

This was the moment I regretted attending the midnight premier screening of this crap movie.

Rise of Skywalker. What the fuck was that crap? Easily the worst SW movie by a country mile.

Farage says 'I never said we would cut taxes'. 'I' being his get out clause. He is a snake. Farage also went on to claim that putting up council tax by less than inflation is a 'cut'. word twister.

Do you have a battery attached to your solar panels? Do American EV cars have the ability to power your home from its battery? In Europe, EV cars now have 2-way transformers that enable Vehicle-to-grid to enable car batteries to power your home. Cars spend 90% of their time parked on the drive.

This Chinese EVs are top quality. Aiming to beat every top car in its segment. There is no need to wait. Go see for yourself now.

The US is fast becoming a niche country. It is a fading empire and will die along with its addiction to fossil fuels.

I believe that was a strategy to get to the next election when the case for rejoining will be easy to make.

09.03.2026 18:49 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

There is a lot of legislation needed to unwind those Tory β€˜trade’ deals whose only purpose was to make rejoining difficult and then the rejoining process which could never be achieved in first term but will be a Labour GE policy in 2029. Starmer building bridges. Then defeat Reform.
