because i feel worthless sometimes when i look at my code too, and i feel like a fraud when i see people do a better job than me at one of the few things im supposed to be good at

it's been nearly 6 years since that post and all of its comments were made (2/3)

while debugging my program for advent of code (2019 day 9), i came across a self-deprecating reddit post made by a throwaway account

i didn't pay much mind to it but i looked at the comments and all of them were so supportive and encouraging it made me cry a bit (1/2)
