cyrus was fired as the impiety's bodyguard for refusing to distance himself from elias after resurrection.

elias was fired twice—1st as the divinity's bodyguard for slaughtering colleagues to protect cyrus & 2nd for the same reason as above.

they opted for being fired/banished.

elias. he was assigned with divinity guards to confront cyrus in the divine church to prevent him from destroying it + take over & as soon as he saw cyrus, as an arachnecentaur with all eight eyes & everything, bro was enamored. could do nothing else but stare & call him beautiful.

probably a bad time to think about a style change, but i've definitely been wanting to revisit horror art since i haven't done so in 10+ years. i also want to try and ditch line art since i find myself not enjoying it anymore unless it's for semi-chibis. much to think about.
