Thank you, sir! ๐
Thank you, sir! ๐
I was at a hospital yesterday wearing my Big-Ass Sandwiches hoodie. One of the nurses said his friend got one of the last sandos we served before closing, and that he got this tattoo for his birthday. Portland can be such a small town sometimes. It warms my heart that we made something people loved.
Does anyone still have a copy of our Jones pop-up invitation? If you do, we'd love a scan for the book!
Brian is starting in on book design. This process is teaching us so much. We think you're gonna love it.
Working full-time and writing a book is a juggle, but we really want to put it out in 2026, which is is 10 years since we closed, if you can believe it.
Stay tuned!
We'll have those recipes, too. More sandwiches at Thanksgiving!
Brian made his Caesar dressing the other night for a salad. I immediately missed the Caesar sandwich. The recipe for that dressing will be in the book!
I might have to hit you up for that! It evolved and I have a few versions somewhere...
That's a serious challenge.
It will never cease to warm our hearts that we made something people loved and remember to this day. We're forever grateful for the support you gave us.
She's a lil' greasy from years of cart life, but she's got the goods.
On us closing.
