We are fast approaching the end of the fox and hare hunting seasons but stags will continue to be hunted throughout April and mink hunting will begin again over the Summer, and the HSA will continue our fight against blood sports.

Joint Master of the Cotswold Vale Farmers Hunt, Nathan Goulding was found guilty on Friday at Cheltenham Magistrates Court, for assault and battery, when he used his horse to assault two hunt sabs during a fox hunt on 21/01/26

Pipewell Foot Beagles Huntsman ordered to pay ยฃ1,000 fine, ยฃ3,600 costs, ยฃ500 victim surcharge and forfeit his little hunting horn for hunting and killing a hare contrary to the Section 1 of the Hunting Act 2005.
Is it 'petty and vindictiveโ to take away tools used in a criminal act - or rather normal. The British Hounds Association described the horn as the 'tool of this manโs trade' - that trade is illegal, they seem not to understand that.

Huntsman Philip Saunders of the Pipewell Foot Beagles pleaded guilty yesterday in Northamptonshire Magistrates Court, to hunting and killing a hare in January 2025 near Kettering.
The footage was filmed by a wildlife photographer who witnessed the incident.
