the little trick to this though is that at first glance that meant it looked like a hard drive was the problem - until I plugged it into a different, non-defective port

nothing bad ever happens to women in this show, she probably is just going on a trip
woims
practical example was many years ago my family pc that i was tinkering with wouldn't post and i discovered through working through each component that one of the sata ports had gone bad and the thing would die on boot if anything was plugged into it
you're gonna traumatize the collective unconscious of the species so they're wiser
yeah the ancient wisdom for testing a build from scratch is "unplug everything and plug each thing back in one at a time"
since we're in a chaos system here we're kind of working backwards from that but nevertheless
should be fine as it is, although maybe worth trying to backtrack along it on the back to see where it actually goes
the correct word is tycoon, of course
yeah argb headers are a live, a ground, and a data jack, those things should be getting power for the lights off the motherboard, they *have* to be plugged into something else
they shouldn't even be drawing *power* in this situation, they're plugged into the power supply somewhere in that squid on the back
what in the goddamn lmao
Biffo goes to the shoe store and decides to buy a gigantic pair of clown shoes. BIFFO: These are just what I want!

not great but looking at the spec sheet for a likely match for the case fans the current draw with it locked up like that is .02 amps over the rated current so i doubt it would melt or catch fire, though the fan itself might burn out eventually
whenever i build something i always find at least one thing has managed to become a clearance issue through the power of destiny
can't be *too* mad about the fan vs power cable, that's the ancient fight (although going non-modular makes it a lot more likely, thank you prebuilt shortcuts)
Only +1 for this one, I think
That's not in danger of hitting anything as it stands now so it's just untidy, not a problem to leave
lmao oh dear
I miss when each class level in D&D had a different title
They look friendly too
There *are* soul consuming ghosts that hunt people but they never bother anybody you know so it's fine
Developing strong opinions about how lax the false start enforcement has gotten lately
Logo checks out
*guy who never heard of Gorillaz before* oh so they’re kind of like the california raisins?
Star Trek Deep Space Nine scene. A PADD is shown up close held by a pair of hands. (Kind of looks like an old palm pilot and if you're not old this will mean nothing to you) The beautiful LCARS user interface is displaying the text, "GO AWAY."
The fans may not know what they really want anyway, as evidenced by every questionable feedback driven change made to baldur's gate 3 vs the total dominance of Whithers Big Naturals
He's turned up for all 4 days so far and that seat block is 20k¥ per day; i suppose you can budget higher if your region only hosts one tournament a year, the Tokyo recurring characters space their days out
lol, well, I know that country's general shape and location a lot better than many others but since i have no real sense for where the cities are it's still a serious score danger (much like picking the correct island in New Zealand but Worse)
That's one of those areas that I just look at on google maps sometimes because the road to get there seems Neat
The first one though was half knowing where the city is and much more than half knowing why it's called that
