Saddleback tamarin (Leontocebus fuscicollis), also called Andean saddle-back tamarins, are not equipped to extract tree gums. They lay in wait for pygmy marmosets to gouge holes in trees and bully the smaller monkeys away from their quarry. Widespread and common, no major threats imperil them.

For US international students and their colleagues: Choose an English-speaking, US citizen friend to be your one call and memorize their number. Then memorize the number of an immigration lawyer. Remember that ICE and USCIS officers have ultimate discretion over how any encounter might go.

What Works For Me! I asked ChatGPT to write an essay on the theme of fear in Macbeth. I gave it to my seniors and told them Iโd probably score it a D. Their job was to redeem it. C level added quotes and better syntax. B level had to thoroughly expand. Most chose the โAโ option: not look at the ChatGPT essay and write their own. It helped them to see how simplistic the AI is, unless theyโre sophisticated in programming it. โKristen Brewer, Educator

This is a gorgeous cover and an even cooler paper - a full phylogenetic tree using BUSCO genes, featuring new genomes for some weirdos including chitons, the watering-pot shell, a tusk shell, a symbiotically chemosynthetic mud clam, the Chilean abalone (not an abalone), and *two* monoplacophorans! ๐งช

I think one of the saddest and maddening aspects of the past several weeks is that so many Americans have no conception of the damage that has been done. They will be poorer, sicker, and less secure.
