Le Conseil d'Administration a voté ce jour la motion que nous vous faisons suivre. L'équipe de la présidence, Le CA réuni le 19 décembre 2025, alerte solennellement la tutelle et la communauté sur le Budget Initial 2026 qui a été construit sous de très fortes contraintes et a dû être voté ce jour. Ce budget démontre que l’université n’a plus de marges de manœuvre pour faire face à ses besoins pérennes minimaux et assurer ses missions de service public en Formation, en Recherche et en accompagnement de sa communauté, étudiante et professionnelle, dans un contexte social de forte hausse de la précarité, de fragilisation de la démocratie et de désengagement de l’État. Ces missions, essentielles pour la société présente et à venir, doivent être réaffirmées avec force et re-abondées par l’État en urgence.

Chers toutes et tous, Le mouvement Stand Up For Science a pris en France une ampleur exceptionnelle. Ce vendredi 07 mars, nous aurons l’occasion d’affirmer collectivement notre solidarité aux scientifiques et universitaires travaillant aux États-Unis, en Argentine et dans tous les pays où la liberté académique est menacée. Nous espérons leur apporter du courage au réveil, constatant que la mobilisation est déjà massive, ici, où il y aura une cinquantaine d'événements, dans une trentaine de villes. Les marches et rassemblements de demain seront aussi l’occasion de faire front commun face aux menaces qui pèsent ici aussi sur la recherche publique et l’Université. Stand Up For Science est né de l’élan des scientifiques et citoyens qui l’ont rejoint. Il nous appartient de le transformer, dans les semaines qui viennent, en un mouvement durable. Les chantiers sont nombreux : accueillir les scientifiques et universitaires contraints à l’exil, sécuriser les données et les résultats scientifiques, impulser les changements nécessaires pour affronter les crises démocratique, sociale, climatique, écologique et sanitaire, sortir de la crise financière les institutions de production et de transmission des savoirs. Le 7 mars, levons-nous pour les sciences et ensuite, restons debout.
