Careful SeΓ‘n, you'll get dry eyes staring like that! π
Been a bit low-level anxious about something for the past week which has kinda murdered my appetite. Things are looking up though!

Nothing says "I love you" more than a goodnight thumb wrestle with your husband in bed... π

What seriously deep and introspective music is Leo listening to tonight?
Don't judge me! You're dancing around to it too in your seat and you know it! π€¨
My belly is feeling awfully big lately, I think I need someone to hold it for me whilst I'm playing games. Bonus points if you bring snacks.
How I arrived on Bluesky:
WOO!
I get Β£8 off my next order from Popeyes!
Let's hope the luck holds out for tonight's Euromillions! π€
Unexpected day off. No plans. Edibles just about hitting and the munchies kicking in... π½
Wanna help out? Donation link in bio, or message me and tell me how fat you wanna see me really get... π₯΅

Itβs DID/OSDD Awareness Day today!
To raise awareness, Leo recorded a video to introducing himself.
He talks about where he came from, the anger he carries, the harm heβs caused, and how heβs learning to grow from it.
Alters arenβt monsters or characters, they're real people with real feelings. π

DID fact #12:
Dissociation exists on a spectrum.
Everyday experiences like daydreaming are mild forms of dissociation, while disorders like DID occur at the far end of that spectrum.
The difference is how intense, chronic, and disruptive the dissociation becomes.
DID fact #11:
The structured clinical interview often used to assess dissociative disorders (SCID-D) evaluates five core areas:
amnesia, depersonalisation, derealisation, identity confusion, and identity alteration.
A typical DID diagnosis shows moderate to severe symptoms in most of these areas.
DID fact #10:
DID is a treatable condition.
Therapy often focuses on stabilisation, internal cooperation, and reducing dissociative symptoms.
Two possible outcomes of therapy are full fusion into a single mind or functional multiplicity where alters are kept but the system has healthy dynamics.
DID fact #9:
No two DID systems present in exactly the same way.
Systems can vary widely in amnesia patterns, switching frequency, number of parts, and overall presentation.
Whatβs typical for one system may be extraordinarily rare for another.
