Grateful to the organizers of ✨FLAIR✨ for the invitation to share our work on metabolic imaging of lipid-droplet–associated mitochondria. 🔬
I’m incredibly excited about where these data are heading—more to come soon. 👀

I finished my last experiement at NIH. It is bittersweet to finish my training and leave my coworkers, friends, and mentors. However, I am estatic to announce that I will be joining LSU School of Kinesiology as an Assistant Professor in August.

Is liver zonation conserved from mice to humans? And how does fibrosis affect zonation in patients? Now, these questions are answered using scDVP. Some collaborations are meant to be! @carolineweiss.bsky.social@frosenberger.bsky.social @mannlab.bsky.social@mlsb-borgwardt.bsky.social
It's nice to finally see some noise from pharma and biotech. As a friendly reminder, over 95% of the research that goes into new drug development is funded by the NIH. 🧪
I am beyond thrilled to co-organize this FASEB #LipidDroplet conference with Mike @hennelab.bsky.social in 2026! Check out the lineup and plan to participate - you do not want to miss this one!! #lipidtime
We developed an ex vivo live imaging assay with stem cells within their muscle fibre niche to recapitulate the in vivo phenotypes and allow for perturbation studies.
Today I walked into our light microscopy core to see the return of a dear staff employee who was denied renewal in February. Find the happiness in the chaos

Great turnout at #standupforscience2025! It's nice to see people standing up for science, not silence!
