I think most fear and bigotry comes from a lack of exposure and awareness, and so I try in my adult life to explain to those who are clueless what the deal is with those who are different, if they have no first hand experience with a friend, or family member.

When I was a kid in the nineties, I honestly didn't understand what trans was, but I already supported anyone who was marginalized. As I got into my teen years, and especially college, having seen more examples of trans people in life, and media, it became something that made sense to me.

I saw the theory that he took hair growth to help grow out his struggle beard, and this was the result, and I choose to believe that's the reason.
