A part of that is Howe’s aggressiveness, but the players are the ones with the ball and take the decision to or to not kill a game. We used to be nasty, we’re too nice/naive atm. Gamesmanship wanted.

He’s legit done this earlier in the season multiple times (Chelsea/spurs I think) and it didn’t work.

Maybe, like most things, it’s a player issue

By what criteria? By all means show your working as to how Howe is worse than all the other managers in the world for subs.

In the context of that it’s very annoying. But he used his bench well tonight, subs created the goal.
