Colita slaps Demian with all her strenght (-1, but she gets a critical hit), which makes Demian fall to the ground and then she proceeds to leave the room crying. Demian, shocked, calls her name and to wait.

Colita keeps walking without noticing she's entered the depth of the forest, a dangerous place. She's surprised by a owlbear, a very dangerous creature. She can't fight it alone and looks desperate. Demian appears to help her, but even then they won't be enough.

Suddenly, an orc appears. She goes directly to fight the owlbear, which seems to be scared enough to run away after the first attack from the orc. Colita wonders if they're still in dangers since orcs don't have the best press around the area.

The orc turns around and asks them if they're ok. She seems to be very sweet. Demian and Colita exchange knowing stares and ask the orc if she wants to be their new teammate, to which she agrees. Her name is Grunak. This is the end of chapter 1.

Demian comments taverns are usually full of adventurers and that will probably help them find a new teammate. They proceed to do interviews.

They start to do interviews to different adventurers, but they seems to be a little too weird and their objectives are anything like Colita and Demian envisioned.

After the fiasco of the interviews, Colita and Demian are sitting around a table, discussing what to do next. Demian says he prefers if it's just them, that they don't need another teammate.

Colita replies that just the two of them didn't go very well for them. Demian is a bit mean and answers that maybe they got better, specially if Colita managed to actually learn spells for once. Colita gets offended and says it's hard and that he can't criticise since he's a warlock, not a mage.

Original comic rendered in black and white with screentones. Based on the world of dnd, the first page features a tiefling and a tabaxi fighting with a fire snake. The tiefling looks confident while the tabaxi seems to be a pretty anxious.

The fire snake blows fire out of its mouth and that ends the fight. Defeated and humilliated, both the tiefling and the tabaxi are taking care of theirs wounds. Demians, the tiefling, asks Colita, the tabaxi, for a healing potion.

Colita asks Demian if he has thought about having another teammate since they can't fight creatures just the two of them and Demian agrees they may need another person in their team. Colita looks pretty excited at Demian's response.

Demian proposes going to get a mount to go to the most crowded tavern in the area and that's what they do.

Colita se levanta, le pega un tortazo a Demian y se va llorando. Demian, sorprendido, no da crédito a lo que Colita acaba de hacer y tarda en reaccionar, pidiéndole a Colita que no se vaya corriendo.

Colita se ha adentrado en el bosque sola sin darse cuenta, y es sorprendida por un oso-lechuza, una criatura muy peligrosa y para la que Colita sola no es rival. Colita sabe que no puede hacer nada contra ella. Demian logra encontrar a Colita y sale a ayudarla.

De repente, y para sorpresa de Colita y Demian, aparece una orca que se lanza a atacar al oso-lechuza. Consigue asustarlo, y este huye. Colita está preocupada porque los orcos tampoco no tienen muy buena fama, y se pregunta si siguen en peligro pese a que el oso-lechuza ha huido.

La orca se da la vuelta y les pregunta si están bien. Parece tener buen corazón. Demian y Colita se miran el uno al otro y, sin decir nada, saben que es a ella a quien necesitan como compañera. Le ruegan que se una a ellos y ella acepta. Su nombre es Grunak. Este es el fin del primer capítulo.

Demian comenta que las tabernas, al estar llenas de aventureros, lograrán encontrar a su nuevo compañero, y ambos se proponen hacer entrevistas.

Demian y Colita entrevistas a varios aventureros. Sin embargo, las entrevistas no parecen ir muy bien, ya que todos los que se encuentran tienen unas ideas diferentes de las suyas (además de ser aventureros muy... variopintos). Nuestros protagonista no parecen muy convencidos.

Tras el fiasco de las entrevistas, Demian y Colita están solo en una mesa de la taberna discutiendo qué hacer ahora. Demian vuelve a proponer trabajar ellos dos solos, sin más compañeros.

Colita responde que hasta ahora no les ha ido especialmente bien a ellos dos, a lo que Demian contesta que quizá si se espabilaran y subieran de nivel, quizá no hubiera problemas. Demian es un poco cruel con Colita y le dice que debería aprenderse más hechizos. Esto ofende a Colita, la cual le echa en cara que no es lo mismo ser un mago que un brujo.

Página de cómic en la que hay dos personajes (un tiefling y una tabaxi) enfrentándose a una serpiente de fuego. El tiefling parece bastante seguro de sí mismo mientras que la tabaxi luce bastante nerviosa. Todo el cómic está en limpio con lineart y tramas en blanco y negro.

La serpiente ataca lanzando fuego por la boca y vence sin problemas a los protagonistas. Estos, vencidos y humillados, están curando sus heridas. El tiefling, llamado Demian, pide a la tabaxi, Colita, una poción.

Colita le propone tímidamente a Demian el buscar a un compañero que los pueda asistir en la pelea, y Demian acepta muy a su pesar. Colita se muestra ilusionada.

Demian propone conseguir monturas e ir a una taberna concurrida para encontrar a su futuro compañero.
