She was SO angry I was wearing a mask.
She ended up getting right in my face and yelling about how she isn't vaccinated & asked if I was scared (yes, the same person yelling at me over a mask.) I think she wanted me to hit her. The trucker convoy folks are one of a kind.
It was wild.
2/2
Last month someone I had been beside in the store walked away and as she walked out of the isle she said something snarky about me wearing a mask.
She was not expecting me to say "and how does it even affect you?", the shit she came back with was wild, including "the study that masks don't work"

In regards to the initial article discussion, they have been bringing up medical implementation of a.i. on this latest season of The Pitt. The last episode was a good criticism of some of the (many) problems, more towards the charting/dictation side of things.
Ohhh can't wait to listen to this one!
Hey @susanholtnb.bsky.social
Do you think spending money on a gas powered power plant for an AI data center is smart when people are finally going to realize real soon that AI is crap and it all falls apart?
Both the plant and data center are awful for our environment and costly for taxpayers.
Good lord
The only way for them to have high daily active users is to force us all to use it but not having it default as opt in...and our gov's are on board with this. ๐คฆ๐ผ
This is a good step.
It would be great if they also halt the AI data center plans that will be used for the same things they are opposing on Twitter.
I was just thinking last night "huh, I wonder what RFK has been up to? I haven't heard any unhinged ideas lately"
Sorry for putting that thought into the universe.
All the "they are killing American Citizens" wording from gov officials is infuriating.
Like Yes, but also many others who are in the process of becoming citizens or are undocumented. They are ALL people who shouldn't be killed or tortured.
What?!?
Yeah even that has been pretty bleak lately, seeing the comparisons to current events and how these same people keep getting away with the same shit over and over again.
But it is a very well done podcast and I think this content with any other reporter/host it wouldn't be as good of a listen.
Fuck.
I'm so sorry.
Oof. Yep.
Finally allowed myself to listen and...thanks for the heads up.
One human rights observer in Maine said agents followed her home, blocked off her street, and came to her door to say they know where she lives. Her children are now staying elsewhere, to keep them safe.
How are these people still trying this crap?
I know it's because it's actually what they do so they are projecting but come on, people can't actually believe the "left" is so well funded that they can pay 10,000's of protestors.
Exactly right.
Bovino's leaving? Great, get Noem to resign.
Noem resigns? Great, defund and dismantle ICE.
Go after Stephen Miller too. Bring charges against ICE thugs at the state and local level. Lawsuits. New state laws restricting them.
Every possible angle.

I'll be sharing a few more fundraisers from the twin cities, and once again, I am only sharing those that are vouched for by people I personally know who are on the ground.
This is a bail fund that helps people who were arrested and are facing charges.
Hey @mark-carney.bsky.social remember how people wanted the sale of those armoured vehicles from Canadian company Roshel to ICE canceled?
Yeah, this is how they are being used.
If this is what they do when they're out on the street with people pointing cameras at them, what do you think is happening inside the ICE prison camps that they keep denying Members of Congress access to?
Exactly this.
This thought has been in my head for a bit now, I'm glad someone else has the words to say it.
The chyron with blatant DHS lies displayed across it is infuriating.

I really hope the New Brunswick one is going to be one of the future cancellations.
The ridiculousness of our Provincial Government is posting about conserving (well) water while there are plans to build one of these monstrosities and a gas powered power plant to power it is infuriating.
There have already been 25 data center cancellations or postponements this month, according to @macroedgeres.bsky.social.
That's nearly as many as the previous 6 months combined.
