Taking our enemies at theirย word
One of the lessons from October 7 is to take our enemies threats seriously. I hope this is an enduring lesson.

My homework assignment to visit a museum from ourย CEO
So, our CEO suggested a fun "homework" assignmentโvisiting a museum. I chose the Hasmonean Heritage Museum and really enjoyed it! The hands-on exhibits about Modiin's history were super engaging. The highlight was the interactive timeline and aโฆ

A little more light from central Israel on an otherwise dark day for the Jewish people.
It really does seem to be tough to be less successful than major artists! ๐ I use Spotify daily although if I come across a band I really like, I'll often check if I can buy their music on Bandcamp (DRM-free and high quality options) or Apple iTunes store.
Hi, this is the first of your videos that I've watched. I don't know much about the hardware and techniques you used although I'm curious about what sort of braid you used to remove the solder? How does that work? What is the liquid you add beforehand?
I enjoyed the video and learned something. โบ๏ธ
That's awesome! Enjoy building it.
I am, although the further I go into the series the more horrified I am about attitudes in the Society, especially because I am sure they have a basis in historical fact.
I've been reading @emmanewman.bsky.social 's Split Worlds series. Really good stories, well worth reading. Especially if you are into relatively modern fantasy based on Fae lore.

Please could you help me to spread the word about my swashbuckling adventure story with a pirate protagonist, sapphic romance, with a dash of werewolves and vampires? My latest novel THE VENGEANCE is available in all formats geni.us/thevengeance Perfect for escaping the horrors of our time.
The Planetfall series is among my Top Five, Ever books! So amazing.
I'm reading the 4th book at the moment. They're terrific stories!
I just finished Planetfall by @emmanewman.bsky.social and really enjoyed it. Terrific book, I recommend it!! Now, on to the second in the Planetfall series www.goodreads.com/book/show/25...
Just finished @scalzi.com's The Independency Sequence and it's terrific. Even better than the Old Man's War series. Really enjoyed these books.

How many more Shabbats must pass without them?
The media may stay silent, but we never will. Donโt let the world forget.
This episode was a lot of fun. Really enjoyed the short story collection. Like Adrian, I listened to it as is my current habit.
I'm watching the extended version of The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug. Still thrilling, excellent over a decade later.
Word of mouth, either in person or wherever you hang out online, is priceless.
The most recent novel is THE VENGEANCE, the lightest adventure story I've ever written, with sapphic romance, swashbuckling, pirates, vampires, and werewolves. geni.us/thevengeance It's perfect for summer read escapism.
I'm super proud of that series too, because it is... just weird! It has elements of portal fantasy, politics, lashings of feminism and characters that I love and miss spending time with, like the Gargoyle. And the fae are proper scary. None of that disney-esque nonsense in these books!
If fantasy is more your thing, I have an unusual urban fantasy series (5 books, need to be read in order, series is complete) called The Split Worlds. It has fae, mad sorcerers, feuding dynastic families and three levels of reality set in Bath, London and Oxford. The 1st novel is BETWEEN TWO THORNS
Okay, deep breath.
I need your help. My friend set this up for me because financial stress is making the whole cancer stress a lot worse.

If, like me, you don't have money atm, if you have read and enjoyed any of my books, please can you tell people about them?
I'm enjoying "Old Man's War" by @scalzi.com . I started reading it after I saw a recommendation from @jamietoddrubin.bsky.social on Goodreads. Enjoying this book so far.
There are pink and blue bands in the morning sky. And clouds!
Good morning, folks. The sky says trans rights are human rights.
I can see why some unscrupulous person would do this. Still, ๐คฌ
I frequently opened Google Maps to look up locations in your Green Man books to see where all those places are. Really interesting.
Is this becoming a big issue? I didn't realise this was happening. ๐ฑ

Lesson from the movies: If your dire, ancient punishment for the main villain risks unleashing them as an all-powerful supernatural force of they are dug up in the future, maybe skip it and just cut their head off.
