Today I appeared on Politics Live to discuss the Government’s response to events in Iran and across the Middle East. While I was there, I was also proud to talk about the actions that we’ve taken to make sure that children in Plymouth, and across the country, are lifted out of poverty.
Tonight I voted to expand access to free school meals for kids in Plymouth.

Tonight I voted to lift thousands of children out of poverty by scrapping the two child limit and ending the cruel rape clause.
Thousands of children in Plymouth will benefit from this Labour measure.
The Conservatives voted against lifting these kids out of poverty.

We announced a new joint low cost effector we will develop jointly to take out drones and air threats.

Off to Bristol today to see apprentices at work at Babcock as part of National Apprenticeship Week, then on to visit the team at DE&S that buy defence kit for our forces and then to sit on the BBC Question Time panel tonight. Busy day in Bristol ahead.
