My approach is only port to switch. target early and make sure to get the required performance early (yes, optimise early!). Test on device often.
Porting isnt some insane hard thing, if you made the rest of the game the porting is not any more big of a deal 👍
Most people can probably do just a good of porting and marketing on their own if they want to put the effort in too (i for one dont, but probably gonna be my only option so waddami gonna do!?)
The funniest thing is how often a ‘publisher’ is three charismatic networkers in a trenchcoat, atop the exact same marketing teams and porting houses you can seek out direct.
