Either that or Ashley bought it, the watch, & the designer clothes for Leon.

Leon’s insurance is already high enough from the other cars he’s totaled.

Depending on the copyrights for these plushies, it may indicate that Koei Tecmo don’t hold partial rights to the Pokopia OCs & unique designs like they do for Hyrule Warriors’.

True, hence my point about Trump speeding up the process. But both sides have contributed to ICE's growth. And going by various responses, there's little reason to believe that any meaningful change will come once Dems take power.

That said, it's not all hopeless. But we'll have to fight for it.

The world never had a reason to. The ICE of today has been funded by Republicans & Democrats alike over multiple administrations (including Obama's), but you can argue that Trump GREATLY sped up the process.

Ludovic's deserved freedom was purely the result of the community banding together.

I'd say Smash 6, especially since the Switch 2 has been out for a bit.

Good news for you, that planned model was seemingly scrapped going by the Winds/Waves reveal trailer.

Removed whiff cancelling of Link Attacks. This is a nerf to Link Attacks.
When Standing L whiffs, the Link Attack L no longer triggers.
This eliminates instances where a character tracks the opponent character when crossed up.

Yesterday, we sat down with the Donkey Kong Bananza developers to talk about how they designed for destruction. We also discussed the recent redesign of DK, as well as the game's origins as a Switch 1 game.

BREAKING: WE DID IT!!! LUDOVIC IS COMING HOME!!!

The judge, clearly moved by 20 people turning up in person alongside 20 online, ruled entirely in Lud’s favor with low bond.

Update to come when he is home. The team is optimistic about his hearing in May.

Miyamoto won't rest until Pikmin sells at least 10M units globally & is as big in the West as it is currently in Japan.

You love to see it, & fair enough on avoiding GaaS projects going forward. Hopefully that doesn't also include fighting games.

Pretty much, yeah. Sometimes time is a circle, although this time it’s to counteract the stagnation of the console audience’s growth.

Right, hence why I didn't absolve the '93 film. If anything, Nintendo over-corrected in the other direction because of that movie to the point where their adaptations are nothing more than a gateway drug to the Switch 2s & its games (lacking in any real substance beyond that).

Seems like they're gonna incorporate parts of the Capcom Fighting All-Stars lore into Street Fighter proper, with Ingrid’s graffiti tag in SF6 referring to her as β€œCode Holder”.

Credit goes to Ryce from ResetEra for pointing this out.

I’d imagine that Universal will loosely reference the films while pulling more directly from the games, especially for the franchises they didn’t get the film rights to (unless Nintendo & Sony give Universal the green light to more directly reference the Zelda movies).

12.03.2026 11:40 πŸ‘ 1 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

But as for the parks in general, they serve the same purpose as the movies (& eventually shows): Indoctrinate people into the Nintendo ecosystem so they’ll buy Switch 2s & the games that go with it. Hell, the wristband passes you get at SNW double as Amiibos for the corresponding character.

12.03.2026 11:38 πŸ‘ 1 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

That would only apply for Mario & DK, Sony got Zelda while WB has PokΓ©mon (though TPC manages their stuff separate from Nintendo proper). Nintendo generally seems to be shopping their IP around to any studio, so we could see a scenario where Disney gets Splatoon &/or Netflix gets Animal Crossing.

12.03.2026 11:29 πŸ‘ 1 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 2 πŸ“Œ 0

PokΓ©mon spinoffs don’t historically sell a ton, with their biggest one pre-Pokopia selling just short of 4.5M. Even their internal projections for Pokopia were 8-9M, barely scratching mainline numbers.

12.03.2026 10:38 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

Also true, but Nintendo/TPC usually operate with a Japan-first mentality. What they do there applies elsewhere, for better or worse.

12.03.2026 10:36 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

Right, the differentiating factor here is The PokΓ©mon Company. They didn’t expect Pokopia to be as big as it’s turning out to be, so they hedged their bets with a GKC & somewhat-limited stock.

12.03.2026 10:35 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

Not just that, they also publish the games themselves in Japan.

12.03.2026 10:22 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

Hell, I’d actually argue that TPC greatly underestimated the appeal of Pokopia in their decision to go with a game key card. Not to mention the fact that they didn’t print a bunch of physical copies.

In short, I don’t think Nintendo themselves will change their approach. TPC might, however.

12.03.2026 10:20 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

That was more of a TPC thing than Nintendo proper, as they publish PokΓ©mon games in Japan (Nintendo just follows their lead elsewhere). So if anything, we might see more PokΓ©mon releases follow suit.
