i have been working on tangled.org/ptr.pet/hydr... and its kinda usable now, its kind of like tap, it does sync and indexing for you, but also pretty different (and written in rust of course). mainly hydrant lets you stream events via a cursor vs tap expecting a single consumer and using acks

i don’t ever plan to deprecate the initial place.wisp.fs lexicon but i do want to to eventually have place.wisp.v2.fs that uses asset bundles for large in number of files sites. it’s quite fragile and slow handling the split records i have

the goal is keyboard accessibility both for actual accessibility reasons as well as just ergonomics (i love using arrow keys to use websites and yet so few actually allow it). I managed satisfactory work regarding this within the domain view but the other two tabs still need work
there's certainly a lot of dead space here now but i can probably fit better uploading statuses and live views into how the hosting/firehose services are processing the site
finally completed the dashboard redesign to not necessitate anymore scrolling, let me know if things are broken or look weird. I love compact design
new wispctl update is live and has support to manage domains within the cli. sites.wisp.place/nekomimi.pet... also no longer links to the rust binaries and instead have the current typescript ones. their binary sizes are somewhat large as it has the bun runtime built in so use npm install -g wispctl

some more weirdness around wisp's caching should be fixed now. I seemingly pushed a refactor out a bit too undercooked
the binaries being served from sites.wisp.place/nekomimi.pet/wisp-cli-binaries should be fixed now. i dont know how long its been busted ive been too distracted by everything

the thing is personally i just see a PDS as something to be self hosted and its non negotiable. it’s why i feel no desire to be making this stuff
