With all the rain over the last 48 hours, the pitch has turned into a swamp. Unfortunately, both of the weekend's social fixtures have now been cancelled.
H1 wrap up their League season today away to Tyrrelstown. With 5th place in the league secured, let's hope for a strong finish. The Oaks play tomorrow at home to Enniscorthy. Finally, our U15 boys wrap up their season today at home to Wexford.
Two games left for H1 this season, and 1 win needed to avoid the drop. This is their final home game of the season against Clontarf Cricket Club. The Oaks welcome RTร for a 30 overs game tomorrow.
H2 wrap up a brilliant season today. Promotion secured. The Oaks travel to the wonderfully scenic Mount Juliet today for a Social game. Our U15 Boys and Girls also play today. The Girls travel to Leinster while the Boys host Bagenalstown.
Promotion secured after a 5 Wicket victory over Clondalkin. Back to Back Promotions. Some incredible milestones today, too. Avanish Patel scored 65 Not Out and broke the HCC record for most runs in a season set back in 2012. He currently has 633 runs in 2025.
What a way to finish. A huge thanks to all the kids, parents, and our own Activators for running such a really fun camp over the last 6 weeks. Hopefully, we'll see a few players signing up for our U11s next season.
All good things come to an end, and our amazing Smash-It and It's Wicket Camps wrap up tonight. These Camps sell out every year and are a brilliant way to introduce a child to Cricket. We'll be back again next Summer.
Our U13 Boys and Girls are also in action tomorrow. The boys play their final game of the season away to Pembroke while the girls are at home to Railway Union.
It's a really big weekend for the club with both Relegation and Promotion fights. It's must win territory for H1 to stay in Div 12, while a win for H2 against Clondalkin will all but guarantee Promotion from Division 19.
H1 has to travel to Ringcommons to face league leaders County Cavan. Our U15 Girs and U13 boys both play at home on Sunday. The girls played Merrion, and the boys play Greystones.
We are really at the most important time of the year when promotion and relegation are decided. Both H1 and H2 have vital games in their division. All HCC Adult teams are on their travels. The Oaks and H2 travel to our friends and rivals in the county North Kildare.
H2 travel to Castleknock Cricket Club on Monday in a 1st vs 2nd clash. Meanwhile, our U13 boys has 2 games this weekend. They travel to Adamstown Cricket Club on Saturday and Railway Union on Monday, while our U13 girls are at home to Leinster Cricket Club on Sunday morning.
We finished July on a high with 2 great wins last weekend. We are into a really busy Bank Holiday weekend. The Oaks play White City today for the Alan Ruddock Trophy. County Cavan Cricket Club visit Brannockstown for the first ever time on Saturday to play H1.

As July comes to an end, both Halverstown teams have vital games at both ends of the table. H1 travel to Merrion tomorrow, while on Sunday H2, welcome our friends and neighbours North Kildare. Our U13 Boys travel to Terenure tomorrow in a refixed game from last weekend.

We had a brilliant morning playing Greystones. Our U13 Girls had such a close game, but thankfully got over the line. Greystones 145-5 (20 Overs). Halverstown 147-3 (20 Overs). Greystones were such lovely hosts, and hopefully, we'll see you later in the season in Kildare.
