i tried watching this video about how bad the pvz remaster was and like, it *is* a bad product, but one of the complaints was that it didn't include Every Single Thing From Every Version, such as the exclusive minigames and achievements(????) and he treats it like it's a stain of its history

it starts off showing the abysmal marketing, the dumb and ugly ""retro"" peashooter skin bonus, the awful AI upscales, the fake(?) concept arts, and all that jazz, but around the halfway point it devolves into what I can only describe as a Pokemon fan clamoring for a game where you do Every Region

youtube sponsor ad-reads are annoying at best and unethical at worst, but a video I watched recently made me realize another reason they suck: It encourages the youtuber to finish videos as normal, then hold off on releasing them until they can get a sponsorship.

Thus the release pace suffers.

that same youtuber, last month, recorded one while still sick and was all "haha yeah sorry if this vid kinda sucks, im not at 100% yet but you know, gotta pay the bills"

in other words, when you DO get a sponsorship lined up, now you're on the hook to meet THEIR deadline!
