βWith all newspapers in Germany being told what to publish and how to write the news and editorials, it was inevitable that a deadly conformity would come over the nationβs press.β

after about a block and a half you realize laughing all the way to the bank is gonna suck
Ossoff: "The WH put out a video depicting this war as a video game. When service members are returning in flag-draped coffins, & even more have lost limbs or suffered brain injuries or are fighting for their lives, this WH treats war like a game. It's a disgrace. And it speaks to a moral rot."
remember when we told no boots on the ground? lol this war is going on for at least 3 years
@schumer.senate.gov more useless than an ankle monitor on a prosthetic leg
HOLY SHIT.
A dark money group, hidden behind a bunch of shell companies, is paying influencers thousands of dollars PER POST to attack @katmabu.bsky.social on social media a month before her election.
Thank you to the people who declined the money and went forward with this. So who's behind this?
This is a good lesson for journalists: Use plain language to state true things clearly.
i am genuinely astonished by how this guy speaks exclusively in cliches
This is extraordinarily bad
the quarantine increased this tenfold
Have you wondered why Donald Trump keeps calling his disastrous war on Iran an "excursion"?
β¦According to close sources, it's because Trump is confusing the term βmilitary incursionβ with a "military excursion."
@swin24.bsky.social and @andrewperez.bsky.social report:
Obvious attack on the First Amendment, and also--importantly--an attack on the second amendment
One asshole did a stupid thing, and the completely legal firearms owned by other protesters became evidence of domestic terrorism

the Congressman's horrendous statement, Politico downplaying that statement, the Congressman then doubling down like no no I said what I said

Just so we're all clear, this is a war crime and would be punishable by life or death under U.S. law.
βThe clear winner of this war is Putinβ
Must be a coincidence π
i am not a middle east or international relations expert but if you'd asked me if explicitly making the stakes for the iranian regime existential might make them respond as though the stakes for them are existential i'd probably have said yeah
A striking feature of Trump and his team is: they somehow imagine a world in which they are the only actors, only ones with power, and whether it's Tehran or Minneapolis are surprised when it turns out others do. There are many kinds of power and many nations with power.
As a country we have made a lot of mistakes in foreign wars over the last 2+ centuries. But Iβm not sure we have ever looked as feckless, foolish, incompetent and ridiculous at the leadership level than right now.
This is part of a pattern I've started to notice: There are people out there who are loudly committed to off-loading their work to chatbots and come seeking my validation for their position.

This might be the greatest split-screen ever broadcast.

I can't even find the words to express how repugnant and despicable this post is.
People who spew such Islamophobic bile don't belong in the United States Congress. The job of elected officials is to combat hate, not fan its flames. (1/2)
i feel like if i was tasked with not starting a war and bringing back US manufacturing jobs, i could have done a better job than this
I keep seeing people ask about the 25th Amendment.
Guys. His entire Cabinet is walking around in shoes that donβt fit because theyβre scared to take them off.
The 25th is never happening.

It's a lot easier to explain now:
Sickening racism from a sitting senator. The Ogles hate is contagious.
Youβre either calling this out or normalizing it. Thereβs no third option.
