I was 14 and very hyped for DK. I asked for it to be in my "box" at the comic shop. When I went in to pick it up, they'd made a mistake. It wasn't in my box. And it was sold out! I freaked out a bit. The clerk reached into a different box saying, "I can't stand this guy. Take his." Still got it!

I've been a Fantastic Four fan since I was 4 years old and my parents left me at home with a babysitter and a copy of FF 159. I couldn't read much, but I loved the art and proceeded to cut out all my favorite pictures of the Thing. So it's pretty exciting when I see a Fantasticar.

I had the pleasure of attending the world premiere of Fantastic Four: First Steps on Monday. As a lifelong FF fan, this was something of a dream come true. And I really enjoyed the movie as well - certainly the first time I've been able to say that about a Fantastic Four movie!
Not really an overstatement to say that the test of a free society is whether or not comedians can make fun of the country's leader on TV without repurcussions.

Today I finished reading The Secret Library aloud to a group of 6th, 7th & 8th graders at our middle school. The kids LOVED it. It fired up their imaginations in all the best ways. They want a movie, book sequels, spinoffs, and on and on. Your prose is a joy and the ending was note perfect. Bravo!
