We can just love them as much as we want, and they never tell us we're not allowed to. They simply absorb all the love we give them and give it back to us. That's so valuable and so generous a relationship to have.

Something I've been thinking about is that unlike some other kinds of relationships, where you might be worried about being Too Much for the other person, you don't have to minimize your feelings or mash yourself into a smaller space for Bangtan.

yes! i love the nod to the past, and the visual statement that they are adult men - and not trying to play by old 'idol' rules and infantilizing themselves into being something they're not. the confidence! ugh. so, so happy for them & i know this is going to be so inspiring to their peers.

I just really like their faces and I really like this album cover. It's not a direct imitation of the famous photo of the 7 Korean men, it's an homage that stands on its own.

Which connects to why they came to America to start creating the album- it connects to the history they’re celebrating- being uniquely traditional and authentic in a foreign land through cross-cultural collaboration and appreciation. Damn.
