3-4 weeks of Hormuz closure would not, in fact, be a "short-lived" experience for petroleum markets and therefore the global economy.

What a world
I can't even find the words to express how repugnant and despicable this post is.
People who spew such Islamophobic bile don't belong in the United States Congress. The job of elected officials is to combat hate, not fan its flames. (1/2)
I mean, kinda good tbh
Is this the first time this has happened?
maybe you ARE a linguist!
lol thats preferable imo
It kinda sucks.
but now when I hear it (all the time) it just takes me out. Filler words are strange. Is it even a filler word? It serves as a set up for an explanation, usually when the news about to be delivered is complicated.
I need a linguist to study this because I swear to god this wasnt as rampant a thing BACK IN MY DAY
Im hyperfixated on how when people are explaining things they will say 'Well, what happened was....etc" but pronounce "well" like "wool"
Bro is prob standing in a pair of giant black Florsheims
and yeah it sucks to now love the person you vote for but the GOP lemmings have been voting for pure ghouls for decades and look what they achieved
I cant with these piece of shit men
Unfortch the best solution is actually to Vote Harder.
anyway, she’s mad at me but you guys I’m such a great mother. You would really enjoy having me as your mother.
retro! I agree with this, yes.
and I do strongly believe that attending quality college level classes is beneficial to your brain.
one of the reasons I’m OK with my daughter pursuing arts in college is because I know she will more than likely actually attend those classes.
that’s the kind of thing that you can’t really teach a kid. You’re born with it or you’re not, imo.
my son was never the type of person to just skip obligations. He was always at school on time. He always goes to class while he’s in college. I worry that when my daughter goes to college she won’t go to classes.
I now have two “adult” children.
it’s my daughter’s 18th birthday and she’s mad at me because I wouldn’t let her skip first period to sleep in (I have let her do this multiple times this year)

I love the idea that *this* US government, which has been nabbing landscapers and five year olds knows where Iranian sleeper cells are but just hasn’t gotten around to doing anything about it yet.
you should go to Maine! Its Vacationland, after all.
Connecticut has good pizza but the vibes are off. New Hampshire is filled with weirdos and disaffected Republicans from other New England states. The Old Man fell off the mountain.
Massachusetts is obviously goated, no explanation needed. Maine could be ranked lower but Im a Mainer so I have some bias here. Rhode Island is underrated, IMO. It's coastal, has very specific food cultures, has a lot of immigrants & isnt as gentrified as the rest of N.E. Vermont is overrrated,
Here's my ranking of New England states:
1. Massachusetts
2. Maine
3. Rhode Island
4. Vermont
5. Connecticut
6. New Hampshire
