It indeed is in great condition, and also includes the Virtua Fighter 4 promo discs. The price was less than 2000 yen (~ 11€), so I couldn’t pass it up 😄

The GC mug has such a cool design 😄 Nintendo museum had versions for all their consoles available, but I thought the GC one looks easily the best.

🙏🙏 Everything was super cheap too! Didn’t want to pass up the opportunities for great deals, like that FFXVI art book only cost me around 20€ 🤯

The best part about travelling here (and elsewhere too) is always coming across those small unexpected moments around every corner – getting lost in the big cities and nature, discovering and learning about things or places you had no idea of before. The kind of stuff I live for.

Only a few more days left in Japan… Starting to feel ready to get back to work and regular daily life again, but a part of me also wishes I could stay longer. Just love being in this country so much.

The top and middle rows are pretty firmly established top choices of mine, while the bottom one has titles which tend to change and shift around at any given day. Too many great games to pick from…

The menus between the two cafes actually offer different options, so I think that itself makes it worth visiting both if possible. If I had to choose one though, it would definitely be Akihabara – it has better mood and decoration while the Osaka cafe is more of a ”lite” version of the experience.

I also went to check out the Nintendo Museum while in Kyoto. Unfortunately most of the interesting areas with prototypes, original paintings and concept sketches were photo-restricted, but I had a great time – definitely worth a visit!
