Currently sitting on my bench in the garden in my nightie. I do have a thin dressing gown on too but the sun is LOVELY! The shade is cold though...

I used to use a backpack carrier for my cat when we lived in city centre and I coukd only cycle to the vet - no parking! It worked pretty well, I just had to keep to quieter bits of road/path where possible so she didn't get too scared by the vehicle noise.

Should be abolished for the same reason the presentation to the Queen was - they now let any old tart in.

That's a great film, very funny!

Yes she's brilliant. Her and Olivia Coleman are a hoot in interviews!

There were rumours flying around that she was really rude to other contestants behind the scenes, looking down her nose at them a bit.

Always liked her character, but find it hard to watch the actress in general since it came out she was a total prick on set on Strictly.

I first saw her in a British made TV drama in 2017 called The Last Post, which was brilliant

But then she's Irish and I live in the UK, so she's been incredibly visible in various tv shows and films here over the years.

I've known for years (probably over a decade) who she is. Fantastic actress.

Just managed to fasten my size 12 wedding dress for the 1st time in about 11 years. GET IN. Yes I realise it's not something I need to fit into regularly but with what I've gone through physically in the past 8 months, it's quite a milestone for me.

My bum makes most bikinis a thong eventually, so in my 40s I've just cut out a stage and bought super narrow/thong ones! I'd wear a one piece in a class though, especially if I was teaching it...

Ah they're better sleepers than I. If someone stayed up most of the night in our house and had a mate round that late in a week night, I'd be doing a murder about now!

Does that mean that everyone else in the house has only had 5hrs sleep too...? ๐Ÿคจ

This reminds me of the time an American asked why an old UK country road couldn't be widened for HGVs. It had an ancient wall and ravine one side and very old houses the other. He coulfn't grasp that it was made waaaay befofe any motorised vehicle existed.

A Finnish housemate once had friends from home come to stay. They saw me and instantly started speakingnin Finnish to me, as apparently I look Finnish! Don't speak a word but their English was amazing.

I was once waiting for a parcel in my old office in Queen Square BS1, and the driver kept delaying my delivery while I could see him parked in King St. On a sunny Fri. Before a bank hol weekend. I ended up walking round to try and find him!

The sun is well and truly out today. Which means only one thing Bristol - parcel people will soon be sending notifications that they've delayed your delivery/tried to deliver, while the GPS shows them parked near a particularly pub filled street (yes I have had this happen!).

Every post about any improvement in our area (Bristol/N.Somerset) instantly causes comments re CAZ and other revenue collecting entities, even if they aren't connected. Cue whining about collecting said revenue. Which is used to improve other things. For everyone. Quelle horreur.

Calling AI "slop" has been one of the most effective instances of the public rebranding a product and it pisses them off.

I can't watch those programmes. The reason trainable animals are dicks is because the owners are dicks.
