Unfortunate update on this. Im going on to pretty much cancel and scrap it.
It didnt meet the time restraint I put in, and as of now iv got other projects to work on so. Il be releasing a page on the site going over the process and why I scrapped it in the end, showing off all the little bits.

id say more but im to split focused so uhhh, summary. good gaem, i enjoy uhh, dismantling sponsor kits-
as i found myself dead every time something peaked a corner and i wasnt being paranoid. or just even trying to deal with players on a basic level even when i had the spotting advantage due to a lack of good loot or upgrades. but it does seem contracts give you some shit to work with overall ig.
my only gripe is, as a more casual guy, i found some of the menu stuff to be, not super great with navigating, and contract wise i didnt manage to do much, so i was very weak, you essentially need to rely on teammates or you'll get buttfucked every match by UESC or even a single player
The game doesnt just, hand you wins or enemy kills like destiny did, and despite what iv heard the AI is far less of the more, generic boring ass shit like destiny was, the UESC when they see you, go out of their way to hunt you down, and dont fall easy either, i struggled with them and players x2.
well, after, MAJOR technical walls, i did eventually figure out two ways to play the game, and can confidently say. its alright.
it has, the potential, and the only thing holding it back is. itself really.
its Raw in demonstration, and straightforward in concept. And as of now, can improve.

So until marathon gets their game optimized properly, drivers or whatever fixed for amd or that is thats causing the game to be, litterally unplayable for me. I cannot recommend or speak good about marathon.
Im heavily dissapointed in my experience, and this weights heavy on my heart.
Iv had my arms open for marathon, knowing it wouldnt be smooth, id be playing a game on low graphical settings and it wouldnt be perfect. But its not that, its unplayable in the state its in now, just a week away from release.
Im watching, everyone else around me enjoy it, but me.

Iv been waiting, Months, possibly years for marathon and instead of a fun game I can play and be inspired from, I get a frustrating mess and a feeling of being excluded by hardware boundaries due to unaffordable GPU's and shit.
Posting this because. Marathon has been a major dissapointment for me. And my intrest is quickly vanishing with every single tech related issue I get trying to just. Play the fucking game.
I try to play on my laptop, lighting errors.
