1000xRESIST was such an interesting narrative experience. I was gripped the entire 12 hours it took me to beat It. I'm even thinking about breaking my no narrative games rule just to show it off some. It was a legitimately good Sci-Fi story that respects the intelligence and attention of the player.
If they tried to do it Final Fantasy 7 remake style I don't have a lot of faith in them. But if they just touched up the graphics Live A Live style and finished the parts that weren't done, I think it could be a winner.
I have spent so much time trying to get the PC version of Max Payne to work perfectly that I likely could have recorded half of the let's play by now. Companies can't anticipate technological advances that are several decades off but damn does that make it a pain when it comes to preservation.
Pretty much any popular first person shooter. I suspect it might be because I'm left-handed but I've always been bad at aiming.
First episode of Prince of Persia is up. If it goes well I might try to play the other two games in the trilogy but I've never played them so for all I know, I'll hate them. Should be interesting to try after all these years though!
Sadly, (or gladly?) no :P
Final Fantasy 16 wins my award for most realistic looking tears in a video game.οΏΌ
Patreon picture for May. Hopefully people won't have too hard of a time finding their name. I tried to integrate them realistically into the books.
For real! I don't even want politics in my feed! I go elsewhere for that, I just want to see about video games and cats but no matter what filters I use a ton gets through.
Those games all took less than a year to make. We still had games like Final Fantasy 7 and Xenogears which took considerably longer and had way more people working on them. These little games were basically side projects but had the financial backing and talent of a giant like Square.
I didn't want to make a end screen based on Breath of Fire since I've already done that for BoF 2. Instead I repurposed an old college project.
The PlayStation 2 had a ton of games. I believe it was around for * counts on fingers* 46 years or something like that?
I miss mid-budget games from Squaresoft so much. Ones made in under a year. They got to try weird stuff and while it was similar to indie games they the resources and manpower of a big company. Threads of Fate, EinhΓ€nder, Ehrgeiz, Secret of Evermore. They could just try stuff without massive risk.
The concerning thing is that I didn't realize I was doing it. It's creepy.
Had to change Talk to Type programs recently since the old one stopped working. This new one doesn't auto turn off and I'm now horrifyingly aware of how often I just, talk out loud when I'm alone. Thoughts are just appearing on screen now. I'm assuming this is only going to get worse as I get older.
Iβm so sad it doesnβt work with older iPhones. Why do I need a powerful phone to play MP3s?
I was a poor kid gamer and I can tell you things are way better now than they were then. $60 was a LOT of money in the early 90s. But if you had patience you'd get to play them eventually. Also friends. Without friends I probably only would have been able to play a new game every six months.
Why do all the turtles in the art look so embarrassed?
I only paid 3.50$
So I got to the end of Suicide Squad and I'm really sad it wasn't just a single player, 20 to 30 hour game. It would have been fine even with the dumb decision to use guns instead of melee. The second I finished the story the dip in mission quality was instant and I deleted it. Greed ruins art.
Yeeeeeeah, it's been hard for me to take the drone stuff seriously after seeing this. Pattern recognition is a powerful thing and the internet has magnified that power ten fold.
Sam Barlow seems to be the only one making anything close and even then the vib is different.
Good to hear.
Checks out.
I feel like I should be ashamed for admitting this but I just bought Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League. It's 95% off and $3.50 is exactly the price that I'm willing to pay for it.
Suicide Squad kill the Justice League is finally a price I'm willing to pay!
Remedy has met a lot of good games but Control is my favorite one. Based on how they like to push Graphics I'm a little bit worried I'll need a super computer to play Control through.
Shenmue was such a game of its time, you really had to be there but if you were, it was something special. I'm still reeling about how shenmue 3 went though...
Crash Bandicoot, spinning away the year 2020. Soon he shall discard this year as well, as he has done every year since the 90s, some scholars say, perhaps.
