Grief is a wild thing, especially as someone with ADHD. We grieve differently than others. Grief over possibilities and medical diagnosis is harder than grief over a loved one.

The things we interact with daily (ourselves) hit us harder than the things 'out of sight'

No active connective tissue diseases

But hmmm osteoarthritis before you're 40 and ohh those liver counts are wonky AF

PS grief happens with medical diagnosis. They don't tell you that but it does.

It's nothing awful but more grieving the 'something is wrong but tests are normal' - 'something is wrong but they won't call me or send me updates'

I know because I keep track of the NHS app updates religiously.

Wildly melancholic for my birthday today.

My health still isn't great and I'm grieving some diagnosis information right now. Plus worries that I'm just not good enough.

I know a lot of the thoughts are dumb and illogical but woooo boy does grief make them so much worse.
