The well established point is it's unlikely to pass. The right wing will toss everything to stop it. They started by excluding the millionaire bits. The uninformed left wing will be scared of a sales & income tax. That leaves engaged voters and the court with a ~90 year record of fail.

There is a great book named "Disentangling from Emotionally Immature People" by Lindsay Gibson PsyD.
To read & understand even parts of this book is to understand parts of why humanity failed time and again.
