About the camping: look for a bnb in the neighbourhood. Usually there’s people with a car around happy to pick someone up or drop someone off, but there’s often some in walking distance too!
I can certainly recommend either of the Danish festivals.
Sure, there’s dancing and people drinking and stuff, but there’s also always a corner of people nerding out about lsdj tables or some other techy thing.
