Puget Sound Energy is jacking electric rates 30% even though residential customers only used 0.2% more power from 2024-2025, according to their annual financial statements.

Any other PSE customers see their bills spike despite using LESS power?

“Special Contract” customers, which may include corporations like Microsoft, are actually seeing their rates decrease double digits.

A bill (HB2515) to regulate Washington State data centers failed to move forward, which included a fee linked to their energy consumption

Meanwhile, PSE is proposing to hike electric rates on their residential customers to 16.75% in 2027

Protesters had planned to attend the Hunts Point town council meeting because Mayor John Sabey is a landlord to ICE in Tukwila through the Sabey Corporation.

Hunts Point just cancelled this meeting citing “lack of agenda items, a reason not recognized under Washington’s Open Public Meetings Act.

This is good news to the people that have consistently been reaching out Mayor Franklin and urging her to take action

Permantly disabling Flock surveillance and passing a memorandum banning any ICE detention facilities would be a great next step

Everett’s mayor just issued new directives in response to future ICE presence:

• Officers are instructed to take action if they observe excessive force commited by ICE/CBP
• ICE prohibited from entering city owned areas
• Everett police are required to record interactions

Unfortunately Olympia is trying to remove our ability to submit records requests for Flock footage, allowing them to turn the cameras back on with little transparency from the public
