Have you talked with ChatGPT about it? I have found that it writes kinda doodoo code if you just give it a task, but if you're describing a specific problem, and you already have the knowledge surrounding the problem you're looking to solve, that it can help a lot.

Star Maker by Olaf Stapledon is a shockingly original and forward thinking book written almost 90 years ago, I don't think it's too well known anymore.

grace because frankly, I think Swift is not easy. It's elegant, but not easy for the non-programmer to pick up. Keep at it and it will fall into place, you're doing great! You don't have anyone to measure against but yourself. Your circumstances are your own, make any progress you can and be proud.

Lastly, I am very proficient in Python and while not a professional developer, this background REALLY helps me learning Swift. If you dont have any programming background, you should give yourself a lot of
otherwise might have spent too much time banging my head against in earlier units. Maybe it would work for you as well to just move on at a good clip. If you reach an impenetrable point, circle back.

Repetition, repetition, repetition. I learned Python almost the exact same way... muddling through copying examples. It started to click when I used it for things I needed. Keep at it!

I’ll be honest, I did the minimum and moved on 🙃 it’s a nice project for sure but I want to spend more time on later projects and my personal dev project as I begin it! Thx for sharing!
