An aspect that I think is missing in a lot of our understanding of LLMs is how success is defined for the models. They are "trained" but how is this evaluated? I suspect it has been scored in some way by human readers. Who are the readers, how are they biased? Are they genre fiction enthusiasts?

You are probably right, and yet, having worked professionally in games for 23 years now without a single AAA credit it feels like a career in the minor leagues. I’m pretty sure I’d be miserable there, but it’d be cool to make something normies have heard of, maybe even played.
