Yeah I kept putting this one off. I'm usually great at sticking to something till it's finished. I think because I had to pay such close attention to the chart and my husband and I always wanted to watch things together.

I finally finished the WIP after 2 years

It was a nice change of pace after the tarantula bean bag chair. This used to be a "big project" to me 🤣

The spider has a navy blue head, with a cyan blue ring, light green eyes, two mandibles in white, cyan and light green, two pedipalps in the same three colors, and 8 legs in all 4 colors. All colors are used in the butt, with a drip pattern separating each color. The head is big enough to seat my big butt.

So I've been working on this since the end of May. It's a huge bean bag style chair spider. The head comfortably sits my big butt, and the arms are stuffed with pool noodles. It's a commissioned project. The theme started as "mtn dew Baja blast color theme" #crochet #amigurumi 🧶 #spider #tarantula

I'm so thankful my cat wants to cuddle 90% of the time.

I love organizing my yarn, I'm a little obsessive about keeping my yarn room tidy.

I put up some peg boards, on the long one is most of my fancier yarns, hand dyed cottons and linen, and some silk. On the short one is some cakes of blanket yarn. The little cups have crochet odds and ends, along with other crafting supplies, and blank cassettes for my boombox/cassette recorder.

A square motif crochet blanket, where the squares are double stranded in the moss stitch, in colors of black, purple or black and purple mixed. They are arranged in a downward diagonal pattern, with the purple and black spaced out with the mixed squares. Each square is boarded in white accent color, then boarded and connected with the gold accent color. This blanket was requested by my coworker.
