Three days ago 2 pesky magpies landed in an ivy clad sycamore tree & began frantically nest building. Yesterday it was complete but by 9am it already has new occupants! Mobbed by 4 noisy crows it appears they have lost the early morning #spring Corvid battle.
Wow. A 17.5 Million pound acquisition following a huge private donation. Imagine the possibilities.

Frog in a pond
The number of ponds in the UK halved in the 20th century – of those that remain, 80% are in a poor state. Healthy ponds support frogs, toads, dragonflies, & all sorts of other wildlife – so garden ponds are more important than ever.
