A close-up photograph of Saturn's rings, captured by NASA’s Cassini spacecraft. The rings appear as wide, textured bands of beige, tan, and gold, stretching diagonally across the frame. To the left of the rings is the black void of space, featuring two tiny, bright white dots. In the upper-left corner, a much thinner ring of Saturn is visible.

This is an up-close photo of Saturn's rings, but it also shows so much more. Those two little dots are actually the Earth and Moon as seen from over 1.4 billion kilometers away by the Cassini spacecraft. Everything you know and love is on that dot.

not that the present economic picture is rosy, but i do think that popular culture β€” and specifically nostalgia bait television β€” is a big part of the reason that our public memory of the 1970s, 1980s and even 1990s seems to miss the real economic pain that marked each of those decades.

How we built Bluey’s world: tales from original series art director, Catriona Drummond Catriona walks us through the creation of the beloved cartoon’s scenery and backgrounds, from its dollhouse proportions and subtle doggy details, to its distinctly Brisbanite atmosphere.

I love looking behind-the-scenes of animation. And this time it's Bluey which is near and dear to my heart.

I experiemented with a widefield image of the Carina area using a Sigma 105mm DG HSM Art at f2, ZWO ASI2600MC Pro, and ZWO AM5. This was two hours (24x300 seconds) with an optolong l-ultimate. A good learning experience printing AF, tracking mounts, and other bits and pieces.

Sorry, just saw this comment. The image is a single shot / stack. The ASI183MC sensor is smaller than the ASI2600MC giving you a smaller FOV.

The Design System Dream Team Structuring a team around continuous activities rather than discipline.

On the surface it looks like I’m suggesting you need 17 people.

Whisper: I’m actually suggesting you are expected to do 17 people’s work whatever the size of your team.
