It’s very rare that I call a superhero film “lovely”, but that’s exactly what Superman is.

Superman himself is an affable nerd who just wants to help and do what’s right, and the film showcases that perfectly.

Two images showing a white and grey elderly porch cat that has been living for years in my area, in the first pic she is shown casually chilling inside a rectangular planter staring through the green iron fence, in the second pic the same planter has been turned over, half the soil it contained spilled on the floor, and the same cat standing next to it, some scattered soil on her fur, as she is looking upwards. Clearly this is the work of someone else and she had no involvement in this incident.

She is innocent, your honour.

Want this more than ever and don’t want either character diluted. I want The Batman to tell a frightened kid that Superman’s his favourite hero, I want Superman to move heaven and earth to try to help Bruce feel better.

Superman was all I had hoped it'd be. It's colourful and hopeful. It delivers both clear commentary and a little flying dog wearing a tiny cape, and feels no shame about either of these things. It's a film that understands its main character and what makes him work.

Yep! They got the heart of the character *just* right. It felt like watching Superman again, and not someone's edgy, grim fanfiction. Definitely planning to watch again.

Just came home from watching, and the film was everything I wanted it to be.

I have spoken with both of them, they aren’t making a hateful film.
