I've retitled my novel series of 13 years! Goodbye "Revolving Door", the working title that said absolutely nothing about the story. Hello "The Spindles of Spacetime"! It is literally SoS now.

oh I didn't even mention the wildest part of this story. The monkey was actually being held by a lady who claimed she had befriended said monkey. not a pet though. just a wild one who knew her face. when I started talking to her it got mad and bit me.

the biggest health scare of my life was when I was bitten by a monkey in a rainforest while playing Pokemon Go

(orally-transmitted monkey herpes is 70% fatal...not what I thought they meant when they said "gotta catch 'em all")

I used to think there would surely come a point when I'd run out of melodies for my music. but here I am and there are still more beautiful permutations of notes coming into existence, and it kind of feels like discovering new species and realising there's always gonna be more to find.
