Voy has always been and remains popular (it was strong in ratings) and I don't think the people who dislike it have really changed any. The conversation around it feels substantially similar to what I recall as a child.

I don't disagree that DS9 was less popular on its live TV run (though I enjoyed it even then, just less than TNG) -- but it very specifically benefits from streaming much better than random syndication, which is a unique dynamic unlike any other Trek.
